I chose Riverwalk Plaza for its convenience to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and the vibrant Rivercenter Mall. However, the rooftop bar with its stunning city views and the heated outdoor pool were unexpected delights. The eclectic charm of Southtown, with its arts complex and trendy cafes, added to the allure of the hotel.
Distance from the Riverwalk and the lack of a promised balcony were also letdowns.

We were able to enjoy a short walk to the attractions and restaurants from the lovely hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The lobby and lounge/game room were really nice and a pleasure to hang around in.

stayed at riverwalk plaza and it was amazing! bed felt like a cloud, great bar, really nice people working there, and very good at parking. They even allowed us to leave our truck in the parking garage after we checked out until 3:00. Check out time is 11:00, but they allowed a late check out until 12:00. the balcony had a beautiful view of the river where you can watch the boats go by. the location is perfect, just a foot away from the river walk. It also has a nice restaurant and a beautiful pool area. Very clean and refreshing to the spirit. Would stay again!

My stay at this older property was overall comfortable, despite a few minor issues. The location was a standout, right on the lively Riverwalk, with easy access to historic attractions like the Alamo. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi in rooms, a 24-hour reception, a bar/lounge area, and a fitness studio. The outdoor heated swimming pool was refreshing, and I loved the spa & wellness center. The laundry facility was convenient for a business traveler like me. The room facilities were great too, with a cozy sitting area, mini-fridge, and microwave.
The hallways smelled like weed in the mornings, which was a bit unpleasant.

the rooms were clean and neat, and the location is great for exploring the canal area. the staff was helpful and friendly too. i also got a local tip about a spectacular laser light show at the cathedral on tuesday nights - just a short walk away from the hotel.

Great coffee shop with vegan options, comfy bed, friendly staff, reasonable prices, remarkable laser light show nearby.
Felt welcoming, no issues.
